Past Bedtime 6/30/08

I was getting ready to put the kids in bed when my neighbor called and invited us to come outside. They were creating a fire to roast marshmallows. The kids were in pajamas but I thought it would be fun. Jason was at a Bible study and knowing he would not go for this, I was glad I was home a lone making the decisions. We were outside until 10:15pm. The kids had a blast. This is what summer vacation is all about. Our neighbor, Marla, reassured me that the kids could do the sparklers. They had so much fun. Unfortunately, they still woke up at 7am.
