Update 9/8/08

I just put Kamille down a few minutes ago. We got talking and I mentioned that Ashton has been not doing so hot on coloring in class and maybe she could show him how to color his school sheets. At this Kami was baffled that he didn't know that he was supposed to stay in the lines, but assured me that she would help him tomorrow in his class and then return to hers because she has a lot to learn in her class. I then proceeded to ask what she learns in class. I loved her answer "Mommy, I learn everything and I have to work really hard and play too so I am very busy." Then she started to tell me about drawing the letter A and B. I asked her if she could write them for me in the morning and she became more confused and asked if I was going to be at her school too for her to help me. I realized I was trying to have a very sophisticated conversation with my 3 year old who was tired and thought her life was very busy.
Ashton isn't so difficult to get into bed. You tuck him into bed and give him a few hugs and kisses and he is done. I love the simplicity (wasn't always this easy).
